PUTTING A NICK ON THE PLAYERS NAMES

After looking over the 1000’s of photos I have from Volleyball games last year, I decided it was time to give some of these talented Ladynecks nicknames from what I see in the photographs that I have taken. There is no intent to

Abbey “The Hammer” Bybel – She has an awesome power spike that often nails down the opposition in their tracks. Her towering defensive presence strikes fear in the eyes of those across the net from her.

Morgan “The Determinator” Wilson – She has that look of determination once she steps on the court that she’s not holding anything back and she doesn’t.

Hannah “The Blond Bomber” Childress - Her jumping ability looks silky smooth and her deliveries were like missiles. And of course, she’s blond.

Hailee “The Happy Hitter” Washburn – Always smiling before, during, and after she’s knocked the competition silly with one of her whopping slammers.

Tara “The Wiz” Wait – The analytically smart player who is always surveying the court to be at the right place at the right time.

I’m reserving the right to hand out more nicknames as the season progresses and I photograph the newest varsity members.
