Sweat and Service Time

The Ladynecks Volleyball team has launched their 2009 campaign with practices beginning August 3rd. After a 41-3 season last year (which followed a 41-2 record), the Ladynecks have set a high standard to live up to.  And losing 7 seniors to graduation from last years squad (including First Team All-State Setter Natalie Craven), the Ladynecks will need to mature quickly, but having a talented pool of young experienced returnees will be a great foundation to build on. Juniors Hannah Childress, Tara Wait, Hailee Washburn, and Morgan Wilson saw lots of action last year along with Sophomore Abbey Bybel (East Texas Volleyball Top Newcomer last year as a Freshman). Both Bybel and Wilson were named All-State Honorable Mention last year.
